Privacy Policy — Element Picker Chrome Extension

What this extension does

Element Picker lets you click an element on any webpage and see its CSS selector. That's the entire feature set.

What data is collected

None. This extension has no storage, makes no network requests, and has no background process that persists after you close the popup or press Escape. It doesn't save anything, doesn't remember anything between uses, and has no way to transmit data anywhere because it never attempts to.

Permissions this extension requests, and why

activeTab

Lets the picker run on the specific tab you are currently viewing, only when you click "Start picking." No standing access to your browsing.

scripting

Required to inject the picker overlay into the active tab when you start a picking session.

That is the complete permission set. No storage, no host permissions, no background access.
